Building Roads to the Ring of Fire and Creating 70,000 Good-Paying Jobs

Construction is officially underway on the Marten Falls Community Access Road, marking another historic milestone in Ontario’s plan to unlock the Ring of Fire and protect our economy from President Trump’s tariffs.

After years of partnership with Marten Falls First Nation, shovels are now in the ground on this critical link in the Ring of Fire road network, five years ahead of schedule.

The new road will connect Marten Falls First Nation to better services and new economic opportunities, while helping open access to one of the most significant critical mineral deposits in the world.

Ontario’s Ring of Fire represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create 70,000 good-paying jobs, add $22 billion to Ontario’s economy and build stronger domestic supply chains right here at home.

As President Trump continues his economic attacks on Canada, Doug Ford and the Ontario PC Party are moving faster to unlock Ontario’s critical minerals, build the infrastructure needed to get them to market and make our province more competitive and self-reliant.

By building roads to the Ring of Fire and working in partnership with First Nations, we’re creating good-paying jobs, opening new opportunities across northern Ontario and securing the critical minerals Ontario and Canada need to build our future.

We’re protecting Ontario by building.
